Bluebell and Yellow Archangel

This silk ribbon creative embroidery kit will introduce you to basic silk ribbon embroidery and hand embroidery stitches and how to use them creatively. You will use a range of hand painted silk ribbon and yarns to create hand embroidered flowers and layer fabrics to create a unique background. This creative silk ribbon embroidery, with detailed step by step instructions, is suitable for all abilities.

Textured fabric 8½cm x 8½cm (3½” x 3½”)

Polyester cotton (large to fit your embroidery frame)

Small pieces of green net

Small pieces of green organza

Hand dyed Variegated yarns :

Medium green yarn

Dark green stranded cotton

Hand Dyed Variegated Silk Ribbon:

4mm purple/blue ribbon

2mm purple/blue ribbon

2mm green ribbon

2mm yellow ribbon

You will need the following equipment: an embroidery hoop (approx. 6”), a selection of embroidery needles, pins and embroidery scissors.
